Founded in 2020, the company operates from Arnhem and Berlin and currently employs around 70 people. The new capital will be used to expand its presence across Europe and to further develop its technology platform.
Deftpower’s focus is on AI-supported smart charging. The platform schedules charging sessions for periods with lower electricity prices and higher availability of renewable energy. This approach reduces costs for users and helps ease pressure on the electricity grid. According to the company, a significant share of charging can be shifted from peak to off-peak hours.The solution is provided as a white-label platform for mobility and energy service providers. More than 40 clients in ten European countries already use the service. The system is designed to handle large volumes of transactions transparently and is prepared to support future vehicle-to-grid applications.
