In April 2017 DIPAT opened its first Investment Round. Between the Technologiegruenderfonds Sachsen and the Madsack Media Groupcontributed a total of 2 Million Euros to the online provider of living wills. Furthermore, Axel Springer contributed an additional 1 Million Euros to the round, bringing the total second closing to 3 Million Euros. Together the investors will keep approximately 30% of the financing round, with the majority of the funds being at the disposal of DIPAT Founder & CEO, Paul Brandenburg.

Putting the emphasis on free consultations

Paul is quoted with saying, ”Previous living wills are unfortunately mostly unusable when they are most needed.” Millions of people lack the proper documentation and medical know-how to keep their existing living wills in proper working order. DIPAT is looking to change that by making sure that this aspect is completely understood by potential and new clients. They’ve recently taken a new partner on board that is going to work with them to make sure they can reach more people with this important information, as to how DIPAT is changing this and has created a product that will be there when you need it, regardless of the circumstances.

Further cooperation with Axel Springer is in the works

According to Katja Kaeseberg, DIPAT’s CFO, the first round of Investment from Axel Springer is officially closed. Further strategic investments are currently in the works between the two entities. The health market takes a lot of time to secure innovation, and to reach this long term engagement and competence in the service arena will be of the utmost importance. DIPAT has plans to seek further partnerships with companies who share these characteristics and values within the health industry.
