Onsai secures over €1 millio capital to deploy autonomous AI in the hotel industry

SpinLab startup Onsai has secured over €1 million in growth capital to further scale their AI solution for the hospitality industry. The hospitality sector is facing a severe labor shortage, with 84% of German hotels affected and 53% of guests already noticing the impact. Onsai develops the digital employee for the hospitality industry.

The voice-first technology automates over 70% of all calls, manages reservations in real time, and seamlessly integrates with PMS and telephony systems. With EU hosting and custom brand adaptations, hotel groups like McDreams Hotels and serviced apartment providers like Homaris already trust Onsai’s solution, which cuts operational costs by one-third while easing staff workload.

Former Hoteliers and Harvard Alumni Develop AI Employee for Hotels

Founded by former hoteliers and hospitality technology specialists Ralf Bonin, Christian Müller, and Tobias Koehler, together with AI expert Jochen Emig.

Capital for Growth and Market Expansion

The funding round is led by SIVentures from Leipzig, with participation from prominent business angels from the technology and hospitality sectors. Investors include renowned industry experts Willem van der Zee, Director of Operations at Pandox, and Wolfgang M. Neumann, entrepreneur and former CEO of Radisson as well as President Europe & Africa at Hilton.The funds will be strategically used for product portfolio development, European market expansion, team growth, and the integration of additional hotel systems.
