The funding round spearheaded by Endeit Capital, with continued participation from Proeza Ventures, 4impact Capital, Rethink Mobility, and business angel Jan Fredrik. Founded in 2020, the company operates from Arnhem and Berlin and currently employs around 70 people. The new capital will be used to expand its presence across Europe and to further develop its technology platform.

SpinLab startup Onsai has secured over €1 million in growth capital to further scale their AI solution for the hospitality industry. The hospitality sector is facing a severe labor shortage, with 84% of German hotels affected and 53% of guests already noticing the impact. Onsai develops the digital employee for the hospitality industry.

Following the success of its first fund, Smart Infrastructure Ventures has announced the launch of its second fund, SIVentures II. The venture capital fund, headquartered in Leipzig, invests in early-stage startups focused on technologies in AI, IT infrastructure and energy. 

FlyNex, one of the very first startups we supported through the SpinLab acceleration program, has successfully secured new funding. This round includes a follow-on investment from our partner TGFS Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen as well as the first participation SBG – Sächsische Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH.

This is the biggest alumni funding round in our network. 😮The series B round was led by C.H.Beck. Additional investors include Northern Data, Dentons and SpinLab Partner CMS. Noxtua is an alumnus of the 3rd SpinLab class in 2016 with Leif-Nissen Lundbæk, PhD where it participated in a challenge by our partner Porsche Leipzig.

SpinLab alumni Planted has received €5 million in funding to further expand its AI-powered ESG management platform. The investment round is led by TechVision Fonds, WENVEST Capital, neoteq ventures, AWS Gründungsfonds and Smart Infrastructure Ventures. The aim is to make it easier for companies to transition to more sustainable business models and efficiently implement regulatory requirements.

Meliodays Medical, a pharmaceutical company developing a local, hormone-free treatment for menstrual pain, has successfully closed an oversubscribed pre-seed financing round of over €800,000. The round was led by capacura GmbH, with participation from FS Life Science Investment GmbH and several early-stage investors and business angels specializing in healthcare.

The healthtech startup LipoCheck has successfully raised €2.5 million in a seed financing round. The funds will be used to further develop the platform, expand telemedicine services, and drive internationalization.

The CleanTech startup Reverion, which was part of the SpinLab Accelerator program in 2022, has secured €56 million in its Series A funding round—the largest funding round for a SpinLab alumnus to date. Alongside venture capital, the round included grants as well. The funding was led by Energy Impact Partners (EIP), with participation from Honda and the European Innovation Council Fund (EIC Fund). Existing investors, including Extantia Capital, UVC Partners, Green Generation Fund, Doral Energy-Tech Ventures, and Possible Ventures, also participated. This funding will enable Reverion to commence serial production of its power plants and fulfill more than $100 million in customer pre-orders accumulated so far.
