Follow up funding for AI startup we.do-ai

Jul 28, 2022 3:47:27 PM

In a follow-up funding, SpinLab partner Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen (TGFS) increases its investment in the AI startup from Leipzig. Since 2018, TGFS has been supporting we.do-ai as financing partner. With Foodcall, the founders Dr. Sebastian Hecker and André Naumann created Germany's first intelligent voice chatbot for the gastronomy industry, which can take orders, reservations or other requests from callers in one fluid conversation.

Revolutionizing gastronomy with artificial intelligence

The AI is able to automatically handle all incoming phone calls from restaurants, take orders and reservations, and forward customer inquiries and concerns. Gastronomes are thus relieved, supported in service and gain valuable time. For instance, the intelligent chatbot can handle several phone calls at the same time and remembers the last orders placed, including preferences, as well as the customers' delivery addresses. However, Foodcall can not only handle orders and reservations, but also other concerns such as a call from the tax advisor or the food supplier. The restaurant can focus on food preparation, serving or delivery.

Restaurant voice chatbot "Foodcall" is a software product from we do ai. After almost 3 years of development, Foodcall was launched at the beginning of 2022 and has since been successfully distributed both in-house and via cooperation partners to individual restaurants and restaurant chains.
