Chrysalis, the chilean incubator business of the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Valparaíso (PUCV), and SpinLab – The HHL Accelerator announce a new partnership. This international partnership will enable startups of both organizations to exchange experiences and knowledge through a co-incubation plan that includes a stay for a month on the facilities of the corresponding program. The startups will get a tailored made experience and mentorship program.

The Chilean incubator was founded in 2010 in the vibrant city of Valparaíso, a world heritage city by UNESCO. At this time, it stands out as one of the more active organizations in Latin America to finance and support dynamic companies that showed a high impact potential from an early stage. This lead to its recognition as one of the 25 best university incubators of the world by the UBI Global Ranking 2014 and 2015.

Currently, Chrysalis has provided funding for more than 60 startups, maintaining a constant growth for more than four years, in number of served ventures, personalized service and experience with value proposition. Chrysalis has financed projects for US$2.3 million the last years and for the next years it is estimated that US$4 million will be set aside in order to finance the companies that possess great potential for growth. Chrysalis operates with funds from Corfo, the state economic development agency, the same agency that creates Start-Up Chile international program.
